FaceoffWith all this blogging and working, you probably wonder when I find time to play games.

Truth be told, mostly on the bus or waiting for the bus at 2 a.m.

But the games I'm playing are pretty sweet and that's why I'm sharing the info with you.

If you haven't been to igiki.com, you should go. Here's a company that understands the iPhone. No hacking, no anything. Just point your browser and play. Not all the games are free, but the cost is so minimal that it's really worth supporting the company for all its hard work.

I've been playing SportsMatch and FaceOff pretty regularly and they are as addictive as they are fun.

And as time permits, I'll try a new game and post a little something about it.

You'll see many, many more choices over at igiki, so you'll more than likely find something fun.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks for calling.

How about a nice game of ...

I've got three games that have grabbed my attention over the past few days. One I found while searching for something else and one from Caller Bill, who writes:

For all of you former Blackberry users who were hooked on Texas Hold 'Em (my best world series was 162nd place) I just stumbled on one for the iPhone, very cool. Go to http://iphone.scenario.com/

And so you should. Very, very cool. I don't know how to play Texas Hold 'Em, but seeing this makes me want to learn.

The second game is called Stack the Log, and I'm going to warn you, it's simple yet addictive. Check it out at http://xwuz.com/stack/game.html.

And the third is a boxing game called Knock Out that reminds me a little of one of my favorite arcade games from the 80s—"Super Punch-Out." I believe it's from 1985 and it was made by Nintendo. I haven't had much time to get into it, but it looks like it could be a lot of fun. It's at http://www.gyrocade.com/ko/

Keepin' you busy on your iPhone

BowlingI'm taking a break from some wedding planning to update you on what's new and cool in the world of iPhone games and applications.

Check this out:

• Talking translator: Need to know some key phrases in a bunch of different languages? Now you can do it right on your iPhone. While this is far from a language tutorial or a substitute for a foreign language dictionary, it gets the job done. Not the fastest program since each sound is an mp3 file, but it works. Give it a listen here.

• Duck Hunt: This quacked me up! Anyone? See I wrote quacked instead of cracked ... ehhhhhh. Anyhoo, if you remember loading up your gun and going hunting on your 1st generation Duck Hunt, you will love this. No gun this time ... it's all in how fast your finger is ... but it's fun. You'll find it at this address.

• Carmadillo: Kind of like Frogger, but different. But close enough that you'll enjoy it. Check it out here.

... And Scott's Pick of the Week:
• Bowling: You must admit ... this is very impressive for an iPhone game. Knock down some serious pins here.
