MmxI don't know about you, but my wife and I really enjoy eating out - and ordering food in.

That's one of the reasons I like the new version of Metromix What's Nearby (version 2.0). Plus, it's free so that means more money for mojitos or Captain and Cokes.

Here's what's new in the app:

* Updated Home Page Display
* Inclusion of Today’s local Events
* Buzz Module reflecting the most recently submitted user photos & reviews
* Ability to view user photos & reviews from Metromix
* Ability to submit user photos & reviews directly to Metromix
* Ability to submit your user photos & reviews to your Facebook account
* Ability to view menu, reservation, and map links within the Metromix app

One feature that I also like that's been around since the first version is the Magic Shaker - which lets you leave the spot you choose to chance. Shake your iPhone and let the app choose for you. Believe me ... those nights where you look at your significant other and you say "please don't make me pick ..." that's where the Magic Shaker does its magic.

Check out this link for a slide show that shows screenshots of the app.

And let me know what you think of it on Twitter.

Thanks for calling.
