Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008 -- 1 p.m. -- out and about
Everyone has a different way for determining the best apps for the iPhone, but I think it's great that Apple has devoted some real estate in the iTunes Store to let people know the top picks for 2008.
Soon as things get a little less hectic here -- the holidays are notoriously crazy in the newspaper industry -- I'm going to collect your suggestions for best apps that you sent via Twitter and create a list of my own that I think will balance Apple's list out really well. Add that to the top 100 list that I did previously and you'll have a great place to start shopping.
Apple's list is broken down into a number of useful categories, from free and paid to games and entertainment. No huge surprises, although I don't see my absolute favorites, WunderRadio and MyWeather Mobile. However, I'm very happy to see Twittelator Pro (a terrific Twitter app) and BeeJiveIM.
Check out the list when you get time. And let me know if you have any questions. Either here in the comments or via Twitter.
Thanks for calling.
