Did you ever wonder what it would be like to have the chefs from Carnivale, The Purple Pig, Lockwood, The Bristol, Piccolo Sogno, Pastoral Artisan and MORE Cupcakes all in one room?
You know what? Until recently, neither had I.
That is, until I heard about the 18th Annual Great Chef's Tasting Party benefiting United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Chicago (UCP). On June 3, some of Chicago's finest chefs and specialty food purveyors will gather at the
Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers for a cocktail reception and dinner.
The 18th Annual Great Chefs Tasting Party is Coming to Chicago
In addition to a diverse collection of more than forty chefs,
ABC7 Chicago contributor Michelle Alegria will co-chair the
event with Tom Kenny, executive chef at Mike Ditka's Restaurant. Steve
Dolinsky, ABC7 Chicago food reporter, will serve as honorary chair.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the children and adults in the Chicago area served by UCP, an organization that works to advance the independence of people with physical and cognitive disabilities, enrich their lives, provide support to their families and advocate for their inclusion in every facet of life.
For more information about participating chefs and restaurants or to buy tickets, visit www.ucpnet.org.
