Hiya, Packy here with an IFD tech update!

We just ordered a rather interesting unit from Musician's Friend, the Sonuus G2M. It converts your guitar signal to MIDI so you can use your guitar to play and control external synthesizers. We can interface guitars into Bill's control center as yet another MIDI controller.

This means Brian and/or I can play guitar while simultaneously triggering chiptune notes or samples. I could rip a guitar solo but have it come out in chiptune...or we could blend guitar and chiptune sounds together for some crazy new hybrid tones...or we can both blend and transpose the chiptune for crazy self-harmonized parts. Think about it man...THINK ABOUT IT!!

We don't have the unit yet so I can't demonstrate it for you myself, but here's a video demo a guy did. We'll definitely keep you posted when the G2M arrives!
