Kid Cudi 'Erase Me' video contest

PREVIOUSLY:
Kid Cudi "Erase Me" f/ Kanye West
Producer: Jim Jonsin - FULL, CDQ, Track off upcoming album, Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager *Tibs Fav.™

Kid Cudi has still got that sophomore album on the way this year and it is led by the lead single "Erase Me" f/ Kanye West. On his Facebook page, he is currently running a video contest for the single, with some cold hard cash and exposure available for the winner. The rules are pretty simple and the entries have started to pour in. I brought a couple of them to the table below; my two favorites in fact of the double digit submissions that I sifted through. The first happens to be directed by Eric Schleicher, who happens to have a digital cinema degree, that is certainly on showcase in the most conceptual take I have seen so far. Another one I enjoyed brought the song to life from a more literal standpoint and used some Photoshop-esque filters to add some flavor to it. Not sure if that is considered 'good design' but it is certainly eye-catching to say the least. Here's the link to check out the rules, how to submit, and view other entries of the Kid Cudi "Erase Me" contest - something that is definitely worth your time if you're an aspiring filmmaker! NOTE: Make sure to "Like" or comment on your favorite entries!

CONTEST [Closed]: Win a FREE Pair of Tickets for Rock The Bells Chicago

Photobucket

Here's how:

Send an e-mail to gowherehiphop@gmail.com with the Subject "RTB Chicago Contest" with the answer 2 the following question:

What is The Roots' highest charted single on the Billboard Hot 100 in their entire career?

For the answer to be considered correct, it MUST contain the song title AND correct number of the single's peak on the Billboard Hot 100. It's as simple as that. It likely will require some research but that's part of the game. The first correct answer will be notified via e-mail and I'll make an announcement on this post that the contest is closed. Also note that I'll be away from my e-mail for a lil' bit this evening but by nite's end I'm sure this post will be updated. Good luck!

UPDATE: We have a winner! Congrats to Trevor B. - the correct answer was "What They Do" which peaked at #34 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1997. (Source)

Thank you to the great response from everyone. If you didn't win, no need to worry because we will be giving away ANOTHER pair of FREE tickets next week! As always, keep it locked 2 GWHH for more info.
