Rotimi "Bottles" f/ Gucci Mane

Last week, we gave ya the sneak peak of Rotimi and Gucci Mane workin' on this one in the studio, and now tonight we are proud to premiere this feel-good club collab "Bottles" on the blogosphere. Longtime Gowhere readers know that I am not a fan of Gucci, but there are the seldom instances where I like a song of his overall - namely "Spotlight" with Usher and if I'm in the mood for an explicit pump up jam: "Steady Mobbin'" with Lil' Wayne. Other aspects of those records carried it into my playlist and "Bottles" is similar in that right - even moreso than the other two because Rotimi flat out kills it. His delivery on the record is an ever-changing wave of power that perfectly meshes with an appealing production for the club. I appreciate how Ro' switches up his singing-rapping flow from verse to chorus to verse (or bridge) and puts specific attention on certain words and notes. Those subtleties, plus the song's sonic aspect in the vocals and production, carry this one to fav. status. And hey, Gucci was pretty good also.
