Agacee 'Grammys' leads new videos

 

Agacee's new video called "Grammys" not only comes at an apt time given last night's affairs, but also proves to be my favorite preview of the upcoming Film School mixtape we are co-presenting with DJ Sean Mac, due out this time next week. "Grammys" questions where the passion in music went in the part that begins my favorite stretch of lyrics (just after the one minute mark). A clever reference to football rules concludes that stretch as Agacee continues with some dope words all the way through to the end, where he finishes the song nicely with, "Everyday's a high day, without no substance, we high off life, it's such a beautiful circumference". Now, this is just about the song itself, but the video is a beautiful visual in its own right. Fly Kite Media did an amazing job capturing the essence of Chicago in the wintertime, combining views at Chicago's Millennium Park (hey, we just did that too!) with some rooftop shots looking overhead, with some street views that display the culture of the city. Excellent job by all the parties involved, so on that note, do yourself a favor and press play above.
