Miami duo Blood Type lead a post of new music videos with their visual for "I Have Dreams" featuring Big K.R.I.T., produced by XV. This song was my first exposure to the group, who really did their thing lyrically on the first two verses. Previously released just last week, the record is also something that Chicago hip hop fans will like because of the incorporation of a sample echoing the song's title and the raw feel of the song in all of its components. The video adds even more to the song by showcasing the beautiful Miami scenery and weather in addition to adding a relatable concept of the daily grind at work. It is good to see that valuable face time for upcoming artists in a video that is well-produced from beginning to end, containing a variety of scenes of the duo in their element. Be sure to check out "I Have Dreams" above (and the mp3 here if you missed it) and be on the lookout for 2 Weeks Notice coming soon!
Down below, the new music videos continue with four new ones from Chicago's U Dot Fam, Smoke DZA & Mac Miller, The Kid Daytona, and Red Cafe and Rick Ross. Nothin' really doin' for me, but I do appreciate the "Hoody Weather" flick as the visuals are pretty well-done and the song puts a spin on this city's wacky weather. Enjoy!
