J. Cole 'You Got It' f/ Wale leads new music update

J. Cole takes the lead in the day's first new music update as he collaborates with Wale on the last leak before the release of the new mixtape Friday Night Lights tomorrow! This one is definitely a good choice as J. Cole sets the tone for the song by rhyming about the chase of a woman, but making sure he is right himself before the pursuit, so to speak. I loved Cole's first verse, which was punctuated with the clever line, "I know you got a 9 to 5, I'll be your 5 to 9". Cole similarly closes out the second verse and comes correct overall on his verses and a hook that would translate better to a live crowd. Wale bats third and while it is not one of his strongest verse in my opinion, he adds to the track's concept and is still a nice fit. I could have done without the little chuckles in his verse, but his verse was progressively better and ended on a similar high note to that of Cole's. Overall, this is a record from two fast-rising rappers that should be a must-add in your rotation so don't hesitate above.
