For his next project, upcoming Chicago rapper Neak is paying homage to one of the best producers of all time: Pete Rock by putting some 2010 flavor on some of his instrumentals and calling it Neak Rock. For "What You Know About" he recruits fellow Chicagoans Mike Schpitz, Slot-A, and Drunken Monkee for a diverse rap lineup where every verse sounds different from the next. Nice move. The result is a track that you can probably vibe with at times and appreciate altogether. Verse of the record goes to Mike Schpitz by a hair. Overall though, it's a good hip hop joint to grab so don't hesitate above before moving onto the rest of a new batch of downloads. P.S. Look closely at Neak's glasses in the cover art... Nice.

Speaking of Far East Movement, 50 Cent adds his touch to their hit single and actually does a good job for the better part of his verse, especially flow-wise, but I just can't fully get into that mainstream hit.
