L.E.P. Bogus Boys 'Going In For The Kill' leads new videos

 

I was first introduced to La Roux's "Going In For The Kill" when it served as the chilling closing credits song to an episode of Entourage this past season and was immediately drawn to the powerful vibe created by the dark beat and high vocals. Recently, Chicago's L.E.P. Bogus Boys remixed the song and added a hip hop flair to the song, and now, they shoot an interesting visual for it above, directed by Creative Control's Coodie. The video is clever for having a well-executed story following the group as bank robbers. I was going to keep going but the ending is a bit of a surprise and I'm not gonna ruin' that for ya. I was never really into the song itself like that, but after watching the video, I naturally have a new appreciation for their remix. It's a dope viewing for one of the city's fastest rising independent artists so take a look and see what the fuss is about above (shouts 2 Andrew). 

 

Down below, Chris Shields ironically makes a movie for his new single "Make A Movie", coincidentally the same title as fellow Chicago artist Twista's latest video. Did you get all that? Anyway, it's not really my type of video but it is definitely professionally produced with the film strip feel and graphics coming in and out throughout the video. We end things on a funny note as Pusha T was chillin' backstage with new SNL cast member Jay Pharoah as Denzel Washington. Spot-on. I had to watch that a few times; this dude needs more on-air time... especially this past weekend where, besides Kanye of course, the show was pretty brutal to watch. Finally, closing out the laughs is the newest spoof from Affion Crockett for "B.M.F.", which is another fun viewing as you can imagine. Enjoy!
