CyHi Da Prynce 'Royal Flush' mixtape leads new music update

The two most recent and biggest appearances of CyHi Da Prynce's fast-rising career were real impressive to me: his verse on "So Appalled" and his arrival on BET with a dope contribution to the G.O.O.D. Music cipher. Naturally, I am intrigued to dive into his all-new Royal Flush mixtape above. Early impressions are favorable as I was noddin' my head from the first few tracks, most notably with "Rings Bellz" and "Hear Me Out". There are allusions to drugs and guns that is normally not my style, but in a song like "Hear Me Out", he keeps it authentic and shares experiences from a storytelling perspective. Give this one a shot and get more acquainted with one of G.O.O.D. Music's freshest new artists.

 

Still need a sampling of CyHi? How bout with his feature with A-Trak? He does his thing on this one, even though I'm not 100% feelin' the entire track, so perhaps start off with an mp3 before downloading the big mixtape above (shouts 2 Miss Info). Other tracks include a dope remix of "The Ghetto" (shouts 2 RR) that many hip hop fans will rock with. Ditto for R&B fans with the new duet from Monica and Trey Songz. Finally, peep a batch of new music videos including GLC sporting an afro in a throwback-style visual, "Aston Martin Music", Redman, and a performance of "Just The Way You Are" by Bruno Mars on Ellen.
