B. Howard is a Universal Records (Japan) singer/songwriter/producer who is making a splash onto the scene with his debut music video for "Super Model". Before I get into the video, Lupe Fiasco fans may recognize the name B. Howard and that's because Howard co-wrote and produced "Kick, Push II" and the bonus track (slash huge fav. of mine) "What It Do" off Food & Liquor. Like Lupe, Howard hails from Chicago, and has since branched out to work with singers like Ne-Yo, Marques Houston, and Miguel. On "Super Model", B. Howard delivers a catchy pop tune that is brought to life by a video both the ladies and gents will enjoy. After all, with a title like "Super Model", you can bet there's some luscious eye candy. But looks aside, Howard has a clear MJ influence in him and I was also reminded a little bit of Lloyd. The track can grow on me even more and under the right mood, I can vibe with this one so check it out above!
Down below, peep a handful of tracks with a couple solid joints from Freddie Gibbs (shouts 2 DGB) and QuESt, definitely not a solid joint from Shyne, and a couple R&B jams from Marques Houston and Bei Maejor. In addition, DMX started a 90-day stint in jail today but briefly talked with MTV about how life is better now that he has a closer relationship with God.
