Nikki Lynette 'Roses N' Guns' [MIXTAPE]

'The totally bad ass mixtape that rocks!!!!' is now upon us as Nikki Lynette drops the full project after a trio of serious leaks the past few weeks. The previous leaks featured the likes of GLC and Mickey Factz; other Chicago artists/producers who make appearances on the tape include Pugs Atomz, Mr. Robotic, and Matt Hennessy. Roses N' Guns is one of the freshest sounding mixtapes from top to bottom given Nikki's versatility as a rapper, singer, and rocker (oh, she produces also). The end result is a variety of sounds and styles that combine together for somethin' that really sounds different from anything else. A strong contributor to that is the amount of dope samples Nikki Lynette & Co. incorporated from the likes of Peter, Bjorn, & John, Nirvana, and of course Guns N' Roses. Lynette's rhymes correct as well, namely on the intro track "Small Wonder", "You Coulda Had Me", "Best In The World", the I Fight Dragons-produced "72 Virgins", the politically conscious "Civil War", and more beyond the previous leaks.
