According to Billboard, Kanye West's 5th LP, tentatively titled Good Ass Job, is set to be released in June. The article also details the rumored and confirmed guests on the album, which includes no one new that hasn't been previously reported. Nevertheless, there's details of Kanye West in Hawaii and mentions of Pete Rock's involvement (which he is denying) as well as Big Sean, RZA, and No I.D. All signs continue to point to what Common says is an album of "raw hip hop". If all holds true (and with the way albums always get pushed back, I wouldn't hold your breath), then Kanye West and Drake will be droppin' their albums to kick off the summer this June. If it is indeed a June release date for Kanye West, then one would figure a single is on the way soon, but there is not even a rumbling on when to expect that. Either way, it should be an exciting next couple of months as more details (and hopefully songs) continue to leak out.
Kanye West is ensconced in his Diamond Head, Hawaii home and recording studio, putting the final touches on his forthcoming album with guest rappers like Q-Tip, RZA and Pete Rock, numerous reports have confirmed. A source close to the project -- which is tentatively titled "Good Ass Job" according to G.O.O.D. Music artist Big Sean -- says it will be released in June.
