With an incredible start to his year, R&B artist, songwriter, producer, and composer John Blu, has just announced that he will be joining the Jive Records family. Blu, the self-pronounced R&B Bully, has bullied his way to the top with the release of his current sexy sophomore single, " In Love Wit Yo Booty" that is making waves across the country with its infectious beats and catchy lyrics. It is no surprise that this single is playing in over 15 markets, including Chicago and Atlanta. Blu is currently in the midst of shooting the much-anticipated video for the single, and has enlisted master choreographer Andrea Kelly to lead with the creative direction. In addition, he is in the studio working on a remix to his single with a hot R&B artist from Chicago that will be released in April.

Blu can attribute much of his success to his current independent record label family, AAU (All About Us) Records. With a dedicated team behind him, he was able to focus primarily on his music. With two records under his belt, he is gearing up to release his third self-titled studio album in the spring. Blu has had much success with his debut single, "Nicknames" that gained attention from DJ's nationwide. Impressed with the single, and Blu's charismatic personality, DJ's asked for a "club banger" and Blu delivered "In Love Wit Yo Booty" that sets the mood in any club. When Blu isn't working on his music, he is collaborating with some of the most talented artists in the game as a producer and songwriter. He has worked with the likes of Will of Day 26, Young Ghost, Costille 89, DJ Solo, Dat Boy Hot, Gotti and Soundmaster T, as well as artists on the Atlantic Records roster. Blu also keeps busy with his production company, J-Blu Music, and is the co-founder of Singles R Us, where local artists come together to network, create and perfect their craft.
