Lil' Wayne sentencing postponed

BREAKING NEWS: So much for that! Lil' Wayne was supposed to be sentenced and serve his year-long prison term today but that got postponed (just as I posted this, mind you) to March 2nd so that Wayne can complete dental surgery (via TMZ). 

Love him or hate him, you can't deny the impact Lil' Wayne has had on the game in the past few years. His story embarks on a new chapter today as Lil' Wayne is expected to be sentenced in New York on gun charges and start serving his year-long sentence today. The sentence may be reduced to 8 months if on good behavior. I'm intrigued to see how well Rebirth will perform in his absence and to see how the rest of his Young Money crew fares as well. I doubt Wayne & Co. will be impacted that powerfully since the prison term isn't more than a year. We all know that once Wayne gets out, he'll be back in the studio 24/7.
