Gorillaz "Stylo" f/ Mos Def & Bobby Womack
FULL, CDQ, 1st Single off upcoming album, Plastic Beach *Tibs Fav.™

I've always enjoyed the unique, alternative sound of the Gorillaz and they're back with a brand new single called "Stylo", which features Mos Def & Bobby Womack. It earns the feature with a balance that I like between vocals and production. Overall "Stylo" is definitely somethin' fresh and outta the ordinary.. simply dope. I'm curious to see if this will approach the mainstream success of "Feel Good Inc."...

Down below lies more new hip hop as Consequence delivers on his promise of a hot new track with "Childish Games" not only featuring a solid 3rd verse from Asher Roth but also some Biggie cuts in the production. Wu fans can rejoice with a couple new joints featuring many of the members. I was especially feelin' "Our Dreams" with not one weak verse at all.  Up and comer QuESt does his thing over "Exhibit C"; not my favorite QuESt joints but it's hard pressed to find a track of his without some solid bars. While we're on the subject, can we officially R.I.P. the "Exhibit C" production and the "I Wanna Rock" production? There's a couple empty graves in between "A Milli" and "D.O.A.". A couple new joints from Freddie Gibbs featuring Pill and Statik Selektah round out the audio.

Ludacris' catchy 1st single off Battle Of The Sexes gets some video treatment. No joke, I can't help but sing along to the chipmunk... just ask some of my annoyed friends. It was funny to see Tyrus Thomas singing along to this in pre-game warmups when I was at the Bulls game a couple weeks ago. Ah, I digress. The last video is really an audio interview with DJ Kay Slay who explains why Drake's feature didn't make his album. Um, fail. From the sounds of it tho, seems like it fell outta Kay Slay's control. Ah well. Enjoy!
