Chicago producer LIVE leads new music post

True story: I took one glance at the title of the feature track above and wondered silently, 'Man it'd be dope if he flipped a 'shoo fly don't bother me' sample in this somehow. I remember singing that in 3rd grade!' Sure enough, I chuckled upon first listen of the first few seconds when Chicago producer LIVE did just that. LIVE's upcoming album, The deLIVEry: The Confirmation, is unique in that LIVE mixed, mastered, and of course produced the entire thing. He reached out to some fellow upcoming Chicago artists for the vocals. On this ode to sneakers, Que B.I.L.L.A.H. takes the crown with his second verse as my favorite part is extracted below:

"You see me on the kicks like Miyagi told Danielson,
[...]
Only rock 1 of 1s, only cuz it's fun,
I keep some Air Max cuz I'm always on the run,
Similar to the reverend my adidas on the tongue,'
Got 99 problems but these n****** ain't one!"

Did you catch the Reverend Run reference? Did you just say 'Reverend Run reference' in your head and think that's quite the tongue twister? Haha, definitely a track everyone out there would appreciate. Another note that helps the track is how LIVE added an extra bit of flavor in the production during the end of each rapper's verse. More new songs and info are soon to come from LIVE with the album due out December 19th.

Down below, Kid Sister leads off a handful of tracks with an addicting Ultraviolet leftover cut "Down Azz Jawn" (shouts 2 RCRD LBL). Also included is another Gucci leak (shouts 2 UHTN) which leads to this quick tangent: am I missing something here? Why is Gucci Mane so hot? Seems like damn near everyone in the industry is workin' with him and singing his praises whereas I haven't really heard more than 10 seconds straight that have made me go 'aite, that was pretty good'. No hate cuz Gucci isn't my style to begin with. I suppose he does appeal to the masses.. *sighs* [end tangent].

Anywhoo, there's an entertaining batch of videos to view down below as Kenna describes how Summit On The Summit came about (damn, they nailed the Jessica Biel character! ..sarcasm). Moonie of LEP Bogus Boys performs the club single "Shawty" with Jeremih but we only get teased with part of the performance before you can listen to the studio version.
