Watch Melanie Fiona perform in last episode of 'Subway Series'; 'The Bridge' album in stores now

user-pic

Just hadda show our girl Melanie Fiona some love; after all, today her debut album, The Bridge, is now available in stores everywhere! I've commented before on how well-executed and how just, flat out awesome Melanie Fiona's 'Subway Series' has been. Well, this is sadly the third and final installment as Melanie Fiona travels around a couple London landmarks and performs "Ay Yo" with a horn ensemble and one of my favorites of the series - "Walk On By" with a harmonica player. You can really feel the energy in the latter performance, further evidence to the talent of not only Ms. Fiona but also in the talented street or local performers you may encounter. In bonus Melanie Fiona coverage, make sure to peep her performing "It Kills Me" at the Nokia Theatre in New York City HERE.

Down below is a wrap on the day's audio and video. Nothin' that spectacular - just a solid XV track, a trio of Styles P freestyles (shouts 2 Splash), a recent HQ video performance from Common (shouts 2 Miss P), and some behind the scenes looks/interviews with the likes of Jay-Z & Robin Thicke, Drake, and Rihanna. Browse 'em all below. Enjoy!

i tried to respond to the comment u left on my blog but ummm... either i dont know how to do it or i'm experiencing technical difficulties.

anyway, i agree that melanie fiona is dope. i think 2010 is gonna be a big year for her. i work with 2 people who worked with her at SRC and they said not only is she NOT one of those artists who relies on studio magic to sound like a real singer, but she's also one of the sweetest people u'll ever meet. so yeah... she rocks.

and also, about the cross promo thing, i'm down. let me know what u got in mind.
