Watch Common talk Kanye West, Obama, and more

Late update 2day for me #blamediddy. Naw really, blame my computer, I gotta rid my library of all these non-*Tibs Favs.™, haha! Nevertheless, we begin with a couple close behind the scenes interviews with Common. The first is more of a sit-down where Common talks about the influence and close working relationship and friendship with Kanye West. He also describes the bond between their music, culture, and even mothers. Then you get a couple videos that show Common promoting his recent album, Universal Mind Control, and all of the travel and work that goes with that and one where Common describes how Barack Obama has raised the bar for hip hop, that also features some guest appearances. All three videos are very cool and I suggest you watch them all if you got the time 2 spare (shouts 2 Current).

Down below is a the day in audio and video with Mary J. Blige & Trey Songz' duet leading things off. It's a must-have for R&B fans and it's awesome 2 see Trey Songz get even more high-profile features (along with Toni Braxton for "Yesterday"). MJB at the 3 minute mark - it's over. Wow. Other names below include Drake (shouts 2 X), Jay Sean, Johnta Austin (of course), Wale & Estelle (shouts 2 YK2), and up and comer Marion Write. Videos include a high-profile Red Bull Big Tune battle, a clip from Rihanna's first interview, and a bevy of video premieres featuring the likes of BJ The Chicago Kid, Usher, Juvenile, and Playaz Circle. One bonus link that deserves some commentary: Jay-Z & Alicia Keys working on a part 2 of "Empire State Of Mind" for the latter's upcoming album, The Element Of Freedom. I'm intrigued yet expect it 2 fall short of the original (since it was that good). We'll know soon enough heading into a holiday season filled with a ton of releases.
