Producer: Devo Springsteen - FULL, CDQ, Leftover track off the album, Finding Forever *Tibs Fav.™

This Devo Springsteen production was a leftover track from Common's Finding Forever, but ended up goin' on Cassidy's B.A.R.S. album from 2007. Nevertheless, "Strange Fruit" has surfaced today (shouts to Marty) and Common definitely does his thing on the verses. My favorite part was how he punctuated the end of the first verse with the bars,

"The hurricanes and waves, they came ashore,
Takin' lives of the brave and poor,
They ignore, us once again, but it was lessons in the wind,
Change that came from within so"

- Common
Keep in mind this was written and recorded on the heels of Hurricane Katrina. Definitely a nice track to have on a Thanksgiving that is full of downloadable goodies already (cough, scroll for Lupe's new mixtape, cough). More can be had below featuring Chicago's Kanye West, Twista, Bump J (shouts to Andrew), Bump J, as well as Drake and Busta Rhymes (shouts to splash). Finally, take a peep at a couple videos including the "I Wanna Rock" premiere and Big Sean's latest weekend recap. Enjoy! And once again have a Happy Thanksgiving!!
