Rising MCs Pill and Freddie Gibbs link up for a nice joint called "Run Up To Me" (shouts 2 EV). The record has a hard edge 2 it, yet verses 1 and 2 especially contain some articulate lines. Usually the effects on hooks like these come off as annoying; this time I would lean toward catchy. Overall, it's 5 minutes that hip hop fans should appreciate.
