Lupe Fiasco confirms the truth in his Wikipedia

user-pic

"Wikipedia is the best thing ever. Anyone in the world can write anything they want about any subject... so you know you are getting the best possible information."

- Michael Scott from The Office

^^ Just had 2...

More Lupe headlining GWHH as our ChicagoNow fam Alicia E. passed along this brand new, fun interview with the Wikipedia Files @ Vocalo. The premise is oddly entertaining: celebrities get interviewed to confirm the truth on their Wikipedia page. Watch as Lupe Fiasco discusses some facts from his early childhood, how he got the name Lupe, and more anecdotes from throughout his career. The one note that particularly intrigued me was Lu's reconfirmation of the novel he is writing entitled Reflections of a Window Washer. I don't expect the novel  (or 'short story' that Lupe jokes, haha!) 2 hit bookstores anytime soon... but I am really intrigued 2 see another form of creative expression from Lupe Fiasco. If he follows through with that, it'll be practically unheard of from a hip hop artist! But really tho, I think we all want the music first, haha. Lotta fun parts in the interview above including one inaccuracy that Lupe corrects so take a look! (EDIT: Didn't check Lu's wiki before posting but nevertheless, the one error is indeed fixed. Nice.)

Below, more new music and vids with a variety for everyone as Kid Sister leads things off with one last leak from her upcoming album, Ultraviolet - the uptempo, catchy collaboration with Estelle. It's kinda weird for a guy 2 really vibe with it but the ladies sure will. I can appreciate the beat and Estelle on the hook especially. Another Alicia Keys leak hits the web, albeit in HQ form (for now), and it's a slow jam that's kind of reminiscent of her older songs, yet with a unique, modern touch at the same time. Hip Hop heads get their fix with some new ODB/Method Man, Curren$y, and more (shouts 2 OS). You can also download Jim Jones' "Hit 'Em Up" coincidentally titled like the 2Pac classic that has an unquantifiable amount of > over Jim Jones' song.

Videos include an in-depth interview w/ Matthew Santos (shouts 2 Sean), some behind the scenes looks with YP and Mikkey Halsted and Hollywood Holt and Million $ Mano, a brand new 50 Cent contest (50 fans you'll like), and a couple video premieres featuring Alicia Keys once again and Shakira and Lil' Wayne. I know you'll be pressin' play on those visuals #dontlie. Enjoy!

UPDATE: Added oooonnne more video for ya eyes (!) and ears...
