Lupe Fiasco announces release date for mixtape

user-pic

11.25.09. Barring any pushbacks (90% inevitable in general), Lupe Fiasco will be releasing the sixth installment of his Fahrenheit 1/15 series in just a few weeks. He announced the date at his last show of the year in Virginia and some LQ footage of such is above. LupEND also states that Lupe announced a video will be coming soon for "Solar Midnite"! Excited for both - as simple as that.

In the rest of the update below, nothin' really special in the audio but there's some big names that are involved that you'll likely be interested in anyway. The videos are where it's at as it was a busy day in big interviews. As many of you may know already, Rihanna appeared on 20/20 with Diane Sawyer and opened up about the events of the Chris Brown incident. Meanwhile, Chris Brown appeared on MTV with Sway to talk about his mindset and recent events as well. It's certainly no original thought that the timing of Rihanna's interview is fishy (with Rated R on the way); nevertheless, her interview with Diane Sawyer was pretty emotional. I hope this is the closure about the saga. Rihanna seemingly has done all she can to fully move on, Chris Brown has seemingly no other choice but to accept it and move on, and Sgt. Tibs seemingly cares but has moved onto bigger and better things like Lamar & Khloe *jokes*. However, in all seriousness, the common denominator that both artists conveyed is that they hope that young people in similar situations can learn from their experience and that domestic abuse can happen to anyone. It's certainly the mature approach that both are taking and it's great if they can twist this bad situation into something positive for their millions of fans who are following.

Moving on... the Kidz In The Hall interview is a must watch for their music updates, compliments about Lupe Fiasco, and potential shots at some of the new artists in the game. I think they're really general, however, the "lonely stoner" phrase that Kid Cudi can certainly be construed as the opposite. Truthfully, I think it's nothin'; for cryin out loud, Cudi shouted Kidz In The Hall out before. Browse everything below tho. Enjoy!
