Big new music (weekend) update w/ a whole lotta audio and a couple videos 2 boot but we begin with a new collaboration from three artists that have done so just as well in the past - Strong Arm Steady, Talib Kweli, and Madlib. "Get Started" is the 1st single off Strong Arm Steady's upcoming album, Stoney Jackson, and contains some slick verses over a Madlib production that I vibed with right away. In particular, the first and third verses hit me and overall it's a hip hop track that many will enjoy and almost everyone will appreciate.
Down below, Lil' Wayne and Drizzy Drake carry the first half of the audio as Wayne goes in pretty well actually over "Run This Town", does his rock thing with a Rebirth cut and a guest appearance on a Weezer jam, and links up with Bow Wow for a track as well (shouts 2 LWHQ, BM, and Ajay). Drake does his thing on Timbaland's "Say Something" as well as on a 2007 unreleased track called "Beautiful Music" (shouts 2 ATF). A couple more notables include the new (European?) Keri Hilson single that I liked (haha! Shouts 2 HHNM) and an interesting Ryan Leslie interview about his upcoming album, Transition. The snippets for that sound pretty nice and are linked below as well. Enjoy!
