Jay Greedy is a 19 year old Nigerian neo-tech rap artist living in Chicago. Here he is matched with Raheem DeVaugn for a solid, soulful jam. Both parties come through nicely and I'll let Jay Greedy explain how this record came about.

One of the producers from his label (Angry Heroes) who is also signed with Raheem Devaughn's 368musicgroup label, (dopesunny) played him Raheem Devaughn's art of noise mixtape. He heard hennesy joint and decided to do his own unique version to it. He was blessed to meet Raheem at Sneakerpimps in Chicago and got a good acknowledgement from a couple 368 members on what he did.

So there ya have it, it's definitely co-signed and it's a track that has circulated pretty well already. Go cop that one above before browsing at the rest of the day's tracks below starting off with Tha Advakit's tribute to "Yummy" Sandifer, the subject of this Time Magazine cover story from 1994. It's the 15th anniversary of his death on September 1st. Very interesting story and read and hopefully his tale continues to be a cautionary one for today's youth.

DJ Green Lantern dropped some Jay-Z live in London recordings on his Twitter and a couple of them can be found below featuring Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. On a related note, Jay-Z discusses today's BP3 leak with MTV. Finally below, the other two downloads I would spend some time on are the latest from Joe Budden and Melanie Fiona. Budden goes in on another nice J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League production and spits some dope lines as usual. And this Melanie Fiona single will be in heavy rotation when I'm feelin' some R&B.
