New unreleased 2Pac track pays tribute to Mike Tyson

Yes, the title indicates what you may already be thinkin': Unreleased 2Pac over his classic "Ambitionz As A Ridah". (Shouts 2 Mr. X). Same beat but different lyrics in tribute to Mike Tyson - an icon 2Pac has admired and stated in interviews. The respect is mutual as Tyson got down w/ Pac back in the early 90s, especially with both celebrities serving time in jaill - they had that connection. This record is not only an interesting listen today but it also inspires some reflection on how intriguing these characters were in their prime and how they heavily contributed to change for people everywhere.

Down below is a couple hip hop tracks of today featuring a catchy sample on the Wale x Gucci Mane collabo. Wale kills the last verse and puts the track over the edge of mediocre for me. Freeway comes thru w/ a solid track but the hook was annoying to me. Ooh, wanted to add a link to Complex's thought-provoking list of Kanye's 10 Best-Scene Stealing Verses, inspired by the common notion that Kanye killed Jay on "Run This Town". It's a good list with some of the rappers on there not even able to hold a candle to 'Ye in the 1st place. The one hip hop legend they left out is Nas. But both him and Kanye made "Still Dreaming" a song that was in my rotation for a long long time, so I guess I wouldn't go as far to say that Kanye killed Nas on his own s***. [End of rambling..]
