Kanye West LIVE @ Chicago Theatre (Trailer)

The trailer looks craaazy - yes, it's only 30 seconds but it's great 2 see the HD cameras out filmin' Kanye West's Stay In School Benefit Concert @ The Chicago Theatre a few weeks ago. I'll definiely be tunin' in on July 25th.

Some thoughts on the audio below: J-Hollow's "Chicago S***" contains some nice bars and a semi-addicting chorus that'll appeal 2 the hometown Chicagoans for sure. In general, I feel these hometown pride songs could be more universally appealing - something that's easier said than done. The one I feel succeeded the most was Kanye West's "Homecoming" and maybe that had more to do with Chris Martin on the hook? Regardless, I sense it's hard for people without any Chicago ties, in this instance, to get into a song that praises the city, just like it's hard for me to get into a song that's dedicated to Atlanta. End of mini-rant. Also below is some R&B f/ R. Kelly, Ne-Yo, and Mario as well as Kid Cudi and Mike Posner on the "Don't Trust Me RMX". While their parts are nice, I can't stand the original so much that I can't listen to this RMX more than once.

There's a ton of videos 2 be seen as well including a couple premieres from Maino and Mario (Hah, they look the same typed next 2 each other like that). You can also view the trailer for Slaughterhouse's "The One" and some BET performances from Trey Songz & Jeremih. Trey Songz definitely killed the last hook of "I Need A Girl"; man, he had that crowd goin'. Enjoy!
