Few riders e-mailed votes for Going Public's fourth annual Rotten Route contest to celebrate, or rather castigate, the worst bus route of the fleet--maybe because some riders switched to trains or others have sweetened on their ride.

"Going Public" rounds up some CTA news you may have missed this past weekend.

>> Two people were hurt when a car ran a red light and hit a No. 66 Chicago bus early this morning, ABC7 reports. The driver is in custody.

>> A man and a woman were stabbed Sunday at the 95th Street Red Line station, the Sun-Times reports. That station has a police unit on site. Here are some other crimes that have allegedly occurred at that stop.

CTA riders defend Wilson stop

Last week, "Going Public" named the Wilson Red Line stop the winner of the second annual Crust Station contest to "honor" the grossest CTA stop. The Wilson stop won last year as well.

Though the reader vote for Wilson was overwhelming, not everyone thought the Red Line station should have won.

Two readers wrote to "GP" to argue against the Wilson decision. Read these letters after the jump.

Court on CTA case: Single act triggers harassment law

A federal appellate court this week overturned a lower court's decision to dismiss a case involving a former CTA carpenter who claimed a 2006 incident involving sexual harrassment created a hostile work environment.

Cynthia Berry, who was hired by the CTA in 2002, said she was sitting at a table in 2006 when one of her co-workers told her to move so he and other CTA employees could play a card game.

She refused to move, and a CTA electrician then engaged in "grabbing her breasts and lifting her up from the bench. Holding her in the air, he rubbed her buttocks against the front of his body--from his chest to his [privates]--three times before bringing her to the ground with force," according to the complaint.

Stroll, saunter, wander on CTA to fest

For years, the CTA has described itself as "rapid transit." But now, in a new ad, the CTA promises to "mosey" you to the city's country music fest in October.

The definition of mosey: "to  wander  or  shuffle  about  leisurely;  stroll;  saunter."

What do you think? Does the CTA mosey you along or get you to your destination rapidly?

Would you pick up a CTA card?

Tribune reporter Josh Noel wrote a column in Monday's paper about an experiment he tried: Picking up transit cards off the ground to see if there was any money still left on them.

Noel found one card with $14.25 on it and another with $13.25 on it. He even found a Chicago Card that had not been cancelled.

Have you ever picked up a transit card off the ground? Did it have money on it?
