Your favorite American sports event

I think those of us who are sports fans, whether die-hards or not, love the NCAA basketball tournament. It's simply great theater. It's the real essence of "The thrill victory and the agony of defeat". And who doesn't fill out a bracket? Even my wife does and I'm not sure she's ever witnessed one minute of a college basketball game. While I love this event, it's not number one on my list. The U.S. Open Tennis Championships is. I just happen to be a huge tennis fan and the Open is the best. The NCAA tournament is a close second. But there are other major sports events that are can't miss and may be on your list. I limited this list to those events that take place mainly in the U.S. Vote on your favorite.
