Meet the Gamers of vVv Gaming
Every week the folks of vVv Gaming have been sharing their expertise in
the world of professional gaming. Wanna know what it takes to
make yourself attractive to a sponsor? Or how to
get known and build a rep as a gamer? They explained why here. And what games can give you the
best cash return in a tourney? Oh yeah, that one was a hot article!
But just who are these people? This week, the folks of
vVv Gaming introduce themselves to all the
Geek To Me readers!

I'm Jerry "LordJerith" Prochazka, the owner of vVv Gaming. I'm a 39-year old consultant from Chicago, IL. I have eight years experience as a business research consultant on human capital projects with Accenture. I also have special expertise in the design, implementation and analysis of human capital research, particularly in the analysis of quantitative data, as well as qualitative data analysis. I have proven expertise in award application processes. Before working with Accenture, I had 12 years experience in nuclear engineering as a propulsion plant watch supervisor and nuclear training specialist for the United States Navy. I received a BS with Distinction from Old Dominion University and attended graduate school in the Master of the Arts Program for Social Science (MAPSS) at the University of Chicago. My gaming passions revolve around vVv Gaming, eSports news and co-hosting The Loser’s Bracket podcast.
I’m Jordan “Doomhammer” Kahn, the Vice President of Operations for vVv Gaming. I’m a 24-year old nerd. Originally from California, I graduated from University of California, Irvine with a BFA in Theater Arts. In 2008 I moved out to Chicago, IL, where I began working with vVv Gaming, writing articles and news posts and doing media work for the organization. I also work as a bartender for catering companies around Chicago. My nerd passions include video games such as Heroes of Might and Magic, Warhammer Online, Battlefield Series, RPGs, webcomics, model hobbying, and tabletop wargaming.
My name is Jason "Paradise" Kuntz, I'm 23 years old and I'm the Tournament Manager of vVv Gaming. Currently, I live in Orlando, FL and I received my BA in Marketing and Mass Communications last year from the University of Central Florida. When I was a child, I started gaming on the NES with Super Mario Brothers and quickly moved into more complex games. I have been ranked as high as #10 on ScoreHero.com and finished 7th in 2009 for the US National Qualifier for WCG for Guitar Hero:World Tour. While my love for gaming has never dwindled, co-hosting our podcast, The Loser’s Bracket, means a bit less time to enjoy it nowadays. When I have a spare moment, I'm a huge fan of the Rhythm Gaming genre (Guitar Hero, Rock Band and DJ Hero) as well as most RPGs (favorites include Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals, Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI.)
I'm Sean "Blazek" Emes, a writer and member of vVv Gaming. I'm a 22-year old Psychology and Computer Science Major at University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I play MMOs, and I love PvP. Currently, I work in the medical industry for Precision Instruments, a distributor for Depuy Orthopedics. I've had 5+ years experience working with and repairing computers, along with a passion for technology and writing. After achieving my bachelor degrees, I will be pursuing a job in the gaming industry as a developer / programmer.
