Wednesday Web Comic: "Nerdmigos"

I'm the resident RedEye geek with an eye towards all things geek and nerd-related; comics, video games, RPG's and the latest nerd tech!

Today's web comic comes from Mexican-born artist Ismael Alejandro Moreno Ozuna, called "Nerdmigos".  The strip is a charming account of the everyday life of a bunch of bi-lingual nerds, and is written in both English and Spanish!  Ismael had this to say about himself and his strip:

"
The comic is actually about my group of friends and the stuff we talk about when we get together, or funny stories that have happened to us.  It's not exactly biographical, but more of a parody.  We've always said that our lives feel like a sitcom.  Kinda like "The Big Bang Theory," but without sexy Kaley Cuoco and the doctorate degrees.  So, what started as a little inside joke among friends, has turned into a weekly writing and drawing exercise for me, which I'm having a lot of fun with.  It's also a way of promoting my friends who are some of the most creative people I know."

"My background is in communication and writing, but I doodle every time I have a chance.  I live in Baja California, Mexico, which has a very bad rap due to all the corruption and violence, but it's also a privileged place were people can experience both Mexican and USAmerican (pop) cultures.  My friends and I grew up watching Saturday morning cartoons and Sci-Fi / Fantasy movies, and reading comics in English and Spanish, so you'll see a little bit of both geek cultures sprinkled throughout the comic."

I read this strip and I swear it's like an account of me and my buddies!
