Okay guys, it really comes as no surprise that some male geeks and nerds have a hard time relating to the opposite sex. Heck, that goofy show BIG BANG THEORY makes that a running gag every week!

And with this in mind, I Twittered a question to all my female friends "What do fanboys do that really turn you off?" And WOW...did I get a response! So here are the Top Ten responses that I received. (Twitter alias' have been removed to prevent flaming.) Take notes fellas:

10. "(I) Hate it when nerdboys quiz you in hopes of "proving" your inferior nerd cred. Worse when they only make eye contact with my boobs."

9. " Say 'Oh my God, you're a GIRL who likes Trek/BSG/FS/etc.?' Geek out at me; don't treat me like an archaeological find."

8. "I hate when fanboys think they need to chose between fandom and a hot date."

7. "Only like things with male heroes."

6. "Fetishize Asian women."

5. "Assume I won't get it cause I'm a GIRL."

4. "Don't assume within 10 minutes that we're soulmates just b/c we both like Firefly. And for God's sake, NO TOUCHING. EVER."

3. "NEVER EVER tell your girl that she should dress up like Princess Leia in the gold 2 piece unless you want to kiss a wookie!"

2. Having a heart attack over the fact that a WOMAN can talk comics or video games or whatever instead of having a *conversation*.

And the NUMBER ONE COMPLAINT I received about fanboys is summarized here:

1. "I really am fairly tolerant, but after awhile even I can't keep talking to someone who smells really icky. DEODERIZE, MEN!"

So there you have it fellas. If you ask me, I don't think that the ladies are asking for all that much, just a little common courtesy and a bit of respect.

Oh, and pay attention to personal hygiene. Trust me guys, that's a deal breaker!

#6 made me LOL. so true. fortunately, i never encounter bad hygiene, but that would be the ultimate turn-off!
