Battlestar Babes in Maxim Magazine

user-pic
Uh...for all the talk that Marge Simpson has been getting for appearing in Playboy magazine (I mean, really?) I haven't heard as much about the 'Battlestar Babes,' Tricia Helfer and Grace Park, appearing in Maxim Magazine.

The shoot was done in advance of the release of the BSG film The Plan on DVD, Tuesday, October 27th.  The film will also air on SyFy in early 2010, but Helfer claims that the DVD version will be much racier, "there will certainly be a lot more explicit action on the DVD.  And I refuse to have a body double, so you will see a little bit of skin from as the Six character.  There's also a new character you'll see in some very intense sex scenes."

Battlestar Galactica pushed boundaries in television, challenging both viewers and the SyFy Channel's S&P department.  The show got pretty steamy at times and for Helfer to say that it's going to be 'intense' will have a lot of fanboys (and some fangirls, I'm sure) picking that DVD up later this month.

And while the gals stay clothed in these shots, I still think these sexy cylons are hotter than that blue-haired, yellow-skinned, alcoholic-enabling housewife.  You can view more photos from the shoot at Maxim.com.

The magazine goes on sale October 20th.
