I stumbled upon this article on the Blackhawks official website with interest.
Jonathan Toews, the cover boy for NHL'11, recently faced off against last
year's cover athlete Patrick Kane in the game to promote the release of
the game. Kane apparently dropped Toews in an on-ice fight with one
punch.
Friendly Rivalry Between Young Blackhawks Extends To NHL Video Game
"That's probably how it would happen in real life," Kane joked to NHL.com. "Thankfully for him he doesn't have to fight me."
"I was pressing the wrong buttons, so my guy didn't throw a punch and I just got knocked out by Patrick Kane," Toews told NHL.com. "I don't know how that happens. I'm embarrassed. It ruined the whole day. We'll have to have a rematch."
The two young Blackhawks All-Stars also debated the fact that EA ranked Toews a 89 overall, while Kane got an 87.
"It's a huge difference," said Toews. "When you're building your ultimate dream team, who are you going to pick, an 89 or an 87? I think it's pretty obvious." Kane, meanwhile, said he didn't care about the rankings and instead, let's his game do the talking.
But the real question is, which Blackhawks star is better in team favorite Super Mario Kart?
