Whoever said video games turned kids into fat and lazy troglodytes should give the new Pokémon game a spin. Seriously.OK, let me explain. Nintendo just released two editions of a new Pokémon game for the Nintendo DS (Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver) and they both come with a new device called the "Pokéwalker." The device is basically a Tamagachi combined with a pedometer....

Meep and I had only taken 19 steps and stopped to check the map.
Meep and I just took our 1,596th step and check out the skyline.
Meep spotted a bush and possibly another Pokémon so we paused to check.
After Step 2,673, Meep and I finally crossed into the Loop.
Step 4,315 scared Meep a bit. He thought he saw the largest Pokémon ever.
Step 4,429 had Meep convinced he was about to be captured by a large alien Pokéball.
Step 6,152 was the end of our long journey. <sigh>
