Before we begin: Mashup Mom reports they're having a 1-day sale today only. Hm.
Labor Day means sales on hot dogs and the like, but what's this? Free Kraft cheese at Jewel-Osco? See below for the Catalina and coupon combo that makes this happen.
And, here's a chance to try something tricky using the Jewel-Osco official coupon policy, available only on Frugalista:
The ad says, "SAVE $3.48 on any whole seedless watermelon with purchase of one Absolute 750 ml. with in-store coupon."
The coupon policy says, "Illinois/Iowa: Liquor Coupons that state they are redeemable on a purchase of liquor and a non-alcoholic item are redeemed without the customer having to purchase the liquor item."
Watermelons are $3.48. So it would seem that the free in-store coupon should get you a free watermelon with no vodka purchase required, if you wave around the coupon policy. PLEASE share in the comments if you try this.

Kellogg's Catalina Deal (Read my Intro to Catalinas first)
Buy 10 Keebler or Kellogg's products listed, get a $10 coupon for your next shopping trip. (Combine this with the Kellogg's Fuel for School rebate to get another $10 back by mail.) (I thought we had until 9/15 for this one but I was looking at the send-by date, not the purchase-by date.)
Products at $2.50: Mini-Wheats, Rice Krispies, Frosted Flakes, Raisin Bran, 12-ct. Pop-Tarts, Nutri-Grain bars, Special K bars, Keebler crackers, Cheez-It, Keebler Chips Deluxe, Keebler Town House, Pecan Sandies.
Products @ $2: Cinnabon bars, Rice Krispies treats, fruit snacks
Coupons are in the 8/29 SmartSource and RedPlum, the 8/29 Parade (60 cents off Raisin Bran), and at Kelloggs.com. I also found a Fuel for School booklet at my Jewel that had coupons for other stuff when you buy Kellogg's products, like $2/1 store brand coffee when you buy 2 Nutri-Grain.
Small Moneymaker Deal Idea: Buy 6 Nutri-Grain bars and 4 boxes Raisin Bran for $25, plus one bag Jewel coffee. Use three $1/2 Nutri-Grain, four $.60/1 Raisin Bran and the $2/1 coffee. Pay $19.60 plus remaining cost of coffee, get the $10 coupon back for a cost of $9.60. Then send in for $10 rebate, resulting in a 40 cent moneymaker.
Would love to hear your scenarios on this one. My cereal stockpile is getting low.
Kraft Catalina: Buy 5, Get $5 and Kraft Will Donate 5 Meals to Feeding America
Items include CHEESE @ $2, salad dressing $1.99, Miracle Whip $2.99, Capri Sun $1.99, Oscar Mayer hot dogs $2, Planters nuts $2.99 and more.
The Free Cheese Deal: It's simple. Buy 5 packs Kraft chunk or shredded cheese for $10. Use the $5/1 printable coupon (Thanks Mashup Mom and they many others who posted this.) Spend $5, get a $5 coupon back. Free.
Important Note! The ad says you cannot roll this $5 Catalina coupon. It says, "Additional coupon offer will not print when the coupon is redeemed in the same transaction."
Anyone know different in practice?
In-ad manufacturer's coupons: $3/1 Sauza tequila, $1/1 Clean & Clear, $1/1 Lubriderm, $1.50/1 Neutrogena acne or cleanser, $1/1 Aveeno Hand or Body Lotion
In-ad store coupons: buy this, get that free. All overpriced Osco stuff.

The liquor thing is not applicable to store coupons, which is what the watermelon one is. It's for manufacturer hangtags, many of which specify no alcohol purchase required in IL. It's just clarifying they accept those.
And didn't the fuel for school rebate end a couple of weeks ago? :(

You have a typo in the Kraft coupon -- its $5 off of 5 items.
Interesting fine print: $0.70 = 5 meals secured by Feeding America on behalf of local food banks.
Where can I donate 70 cents that will get 5 meals!?
