But for now, let's just take a straight-up look at the Dominick's sale flyer for the week of Nov. 19. It's the best one we've seen in awhile.
Dominick's: Best Deals and Coupon Matchups for the Thanksgiving Shopping Week
Thanksgiving Fixin's
broccoli or cauliflower 77 cents/lb.
asparagus $1.49/lb.
yams or sweet potatoes 77 cents/lb. (not really that good of a price)
turkey: 43 cents/lb. for the frozen Jennie-O, 99 cents for the frozen Butterball or 99 cents for the fresh Jennie-O.
Sara Lee Signature frozen fruit or cream pies $4.99 (these are normally like $9.50, which I could not believe when I saw it in the store tonight) (use $1/1 printable for any Sara Lee frozen dessert)
Safeway Select Pumpkin Pie $3.99
Lucerne butter -- apparently the regular price is $1.99/lb. now? That's pretty good.
Other good sale items
93% lean ground beef $1.79/lb.
Nabisco snack crackers $1.88 (use $1/1 coupon from 11/8 SmartSource and also submit for $10 Jingle rebate -- buy 10 with 10 coupons and the rebate will be a moneymaker.)
Lucerne shredded or chunk cheese 32 oz. for $4.99 (That's two pounds of cheese, so you can use the $1.50/2 lbs printable and get it for $3.50 -- an excellent deal at 88 cents per 8 oz.!)
Buy one, get one free: Lay's potato chips @ $3.99, Jimmy Dean or Hormel bacon, Johnsonville links, Johnsonville smoked sausage.
Super Coupon (requires a $20 purchase): Coffee-mate flavored creamer 32 oz. refrigerated $1.99 (stack the store coupon with the $1/1 you can print by signing up here, but Money Saving Mom says they'll be on sale bogo at Walgreens next week, making them a better deal)
