The Harlem Irving Plaza mall in Norridge if offering up to two free passes to the Coco Key Water Resort in exchange for getting your spend on at their stores. If you spend $185 on the same day at stores there, you can get one pass; spend $235 to get a pair.
You get the passes by bringing your receipts to the customer service desk at the mall. Limit 2 per customer.
Naturally, it doesn't make any sense to run out and spend the money if you weren't going to anyway. But the mall has a Target, and even a cheapskate like me rarely gets out of there without spending at least a hundred bucks. They also have a Kohl's, which is, as ever, having a big sale.
Coco Key is at the Sheraton Chicago Northwest in Arlington Heights. Day passes sell on their Web site for $19-$36.

I really wouldn't consider Norridge a "western suburb."

Matt,
Thanks for the clarification, I changed the post. I wasn't really familiar with this mall and I guess I saw "Harlem" and thought, "Go West!"
