Much more than a sports guy, a big fan of tv, movies and music, (classic rock). TV play-by-play man for the Chicago Fire. Between Sports Phone and The Score, I have covered and talked sports for 32 years in this town.

It's all over for another season.

The New Orleans Saints knocked off the Indianapolis Colts to win Super Bowl 44, 31-17. Now what?

Do you turn your attention to college basketball? Will the Bulls now get more of your television viewing time? Are you going to give up the sports for a while until spring training starts? And what about the Blackhawks?

I know, with their fine start, the Hawks are the hot team in town, but guess what? The NHL is about to take some time off in the middle of the season. Why, you ask!

They happen every two years, (winter games this year, the summer in two years). The Olympics are here. Well, not here, but very close.

The XXI Winter Games will begin this Friday taking place in Vancouver, British Columbia. It's not Chicago, but it's as close as they will be for a while.

The Opening Ceremonies are this Friday with the games getting underway. I have some time on my hands, so I likely will watch more than I have in the past.

There are some events I don't understand, but what is there to understand about a guy getting on a sled, laying on his back, and flying down a hill? The skiing is okay, but let's be honest, its great when they wipe out! I really can not handle the figure skating and the ice dancing, but I know that there are those who can't wait.

Take a moment and vote for what you will be watching for these games. Be sure to check back to see how others will plan their Olympic viewing.
