Breaking News: Minnesota's Eric Decker Done For Regular Season

Minnesota coach Tim Brewster said today that star wide receiver Eric Decker will miss the rest of the regular season with his foot injury, according to TwinCities.com.
Ohio State vs. Minneosta

Decker has been arguably the best receiver in the conference during the 2009 season, averaging over six catches a game and accounting for five receiving touchdowns.  His loss, obviously, is a massive blow to the Golden Gophers' bowl hopes.

Minnesota currently sits at 4-4, and assuming a win against South Dakota State and a loss to undefeated Iowa, Brewster's team would need a victory against either Michigan State or Illinois at home to qualify for the postseason.

That task will become much harder with the loss of the Gophers' best player.
