Chicago Career Tech is a program that will train recently laid-off Chicago residents in IT/tech, healthcare related technology, or call center jobs.
Applications are being taken until 5 p.m. Friday for the first class, which will hold 150 students.
The six day a week class lasts six months and targets middle-income residents.
