Better Know A Foreign Hottie: Michael Owen

Since this is our first Christmas together, Chickadees, I decided I should make a big splash and a great first impression. Besides, I have to make a peace offering to those of you who are upset about Duncan Keith being yesterday's DH. And I have to give you someone to hold you over for two days, as DH will be taking a few days off after Christmas.

So meet my favorite man on the planet (after my gorgeous and sexy husband, of course, who for some reason puts up with me writing a blog about hot men): Michael Owen.

Michael is a British footballer who is currently playing with Manchester United ("ManU"). He may or may not be on England's WC team next summer, as he's a delicate little chap who is often injured. Think "Mark Prior" of soccer.
I'm guessing you've already figured out what it is about him that makes him so special to me.
Maybe it's just me, but I consider him to have acheived "Patrick Sharp-level" hottness.
Note: He can rock a suit.
Note: Looks great even when running around playing soccer. In other words, he's not one of those super-pale guys who turn pink when they excercise.
Note: Few things in life are sexier than a hottie who is also a devoted father.
Note: Even the feet look good. That's rare.
Note: Visits hospital and takes photos with ridunkulously lucky nurses. Also, can rock a cardigan.
Michael only has two real minuses. 1) He's listed at 5'8, which means he's probably 5'7. 2) He does THIS a couple of times a year. I chalk this up to him being British.
