Well these Dining rooms won't actually kill but they are good looking anyway! Some inspiration and ways to achieve a similiar look.
Be like Designer Gretchen Bellinger and add a Library within your Dining Room. It's multi-use since your Dining room really doesn't get a lot of use anyway?
Make one wall pop by adding a fun printed wallpaper! Less expensive as well! Some of my favorite prints are by:
As Fall approaches I can't help but think of nights spent by the cozy fireplace. Here are some ideas to spruce up your fireplace mantle.
Eclectic-Adobe Styled Fireplace. I love the sunburst mirror above with two flanking sconces near by for more light.
French Fireplace. A great gold gilded mirror and the mantle is used as liquor storage for those of you who enjoy a hard drink by the fireplace.
Modern Fireplace. It's interesting how they tucked the fireplace between two built-ins and becomes one unit! The black and white is classic and clean. Do you see the burst of a coral colored chandelier in the mirror reflection? Great pop of color.
Country Cottage Fireplace. How beautiful is just a simple fireplace surround? Here they used an old rustic wood surround with barely a mantle! I like how your eye attracts to one main element in the room.
Rustic Woods. A great use of simple unfinished wood yet still so naturally beautiful.
What style of fireplace do you prefer?
Personally #1 is my favorite. Now I'm inspired to find an interesting mirror and new objects for my mantle this fall!

Welcome to Antiquaire.
This one of my favorite shops in Highland Park to visit. I unfortunately can only browse at the beautiful antiques but if your lucky enough to purchase some of her amazing pieces, this is a great place to find that perfect something!
Owner Melissa Edelmann has the best European collections of Swedish antiques, industrial cabinets, french lighting, and my favorite metal tolix chairs!
Wouldn't this clock be great in a kitchen!
There is always new stuff coming in! Be Sure and stop in sometime...
Happy Monday Morning...
We are in the midst of trying to finish our Office/Guest Bedroom at my home. It got a fresh paint job recently and we quickly just filled the room but it still has a long way to go!
Our goal is to add a Twin Daybed from West Elm for guests and lounging. Add new striped carpet tiles from Flor. But our main challenge has become what type of desk should we buy? I work from home so I need something to serve my day to day mess (as shown below) while my fiance likes things a little more tidy! Also I might add this will be his football room come fall so it can't be girly either! Hum struggle?
So I would like to move out the current desk because it's too big for the space and incorporate one wall unit that serves as a desk and provides more shelving above. Here is some inspiration. Stay Tuned...Any small desk or wall unit suggestions please comment!
I am always on a hunt for new decorative pillows.
They are a great inexpensive way to spruce up a space in your home!
These are some favorties..
Sneak peak into Brooklyn NY Pad.
I found great inspiration from this home.

I came across an image of one of her New York stores and had to take a moment to process.
The use of color and pattern is so playful yet sophisticated.
It inspires me to be bold but yet classy in my own home.
