Deep Dish is the groovy thoughts of a gay writer on pop culture and all things fabulous.
It was created on August 19, 2008, when author Marc Harshbarger decided that a blog would be a great way to promote his two novels - Deep Dish, a gay soap opera saga, and its sordid sequel, Deeper Dish. He quickly fell in love with blogging while sharing his opinions on movies, television, music, books, theater, gorgeous guys, and all things queer and kitschy - especially from the 1960s, '70s and '80s. And after 1,100+ posts on Blogger, Marc moved the Dish to ChicagoNow.com in February 2010 to hopefully continue to entertain folks for many years to come.
