The world's greatest golfer admitted to having several affairs with strippers and porn stars while married. He eventually entered rehab for sex addiction and his wife Elin divorced him and walked away with in excess of 100 million dollars.
This scandal is just developing and was broken by the website Deadspin who released voice mails and X-Rated pictures they claim are from Favre to former Jets employee Jenn Sterger. Now Deadspin claims there may be more women coming forward to say that Favre may have inappropriately pursued them.

On July 4, 2009, McNair was found dead of multiple gunshot wounds, along with the body of a young woman named Sahel Kazemi, in a condominium rented by McNair, at 105 Lea Avenue in downtown Nashville.[McNair had been shot twice in the body and twice in the head, with only one of the shots coming from closer than three feet. Kazemi had a single gunshot wound to the head, which was proved to have been fired from a gun that was held to her temple. McNair was believed to have been asleep on the couch when the shooting occurred. The bodies were discovered by McNair's friends Wayne Neely and Robert Gaddy, who called 911. The Nashville police declared McNair's death a murder-suicide, with Kazemi as the perpetrator and McNair as the victim. The 9-mm gun used was found under Kazemi's body and later tests revealed "trace evidence of (gunpowder) residue on her left hand." Kazemi had a worsening financial situation and also suspected that McNair was in another extramarital relationship. McNair, who was married at the time, had been dating the 20-year-old Kazemi in the months prior to their deaths. On July 6, police stated that the gun found at the scene of the crime under Kazemi's body had been purchased by her after her release from jail on the DUI charge. Kazemi purchased the gun from a convicted murderer she met while looking for a buyer for her Kia..
STEVE PHILLIPS ENTERS SEX REHAB
The former New York Mets General Manager entered a rehab center for sex addiction after he admitted to having an affair with a fellow ESPN employee. He was summarily fired from his high paying gig as a baseball analyst and has only recently begun to resurface in the baseball world.
Well said by the Wall Street Journal: Karen Owen's now infamous PowerPoint "thesis" detailing the thirteen men she had relations with while an undergraduate student at Duke University has quickly become a social media cautionary tale.
Though Owen wrote her 42-page dossier, titled "An education beyond the classroom: excelling in the realm of horizontal academics" reportedly for a few select friends, nothing juicy stays a secret for long in today's Web world -- especially when said item is easily forward-able. After circulating amongst the Duke student body, the mock thesis went viral after it was published by several websites, including the Gawker-owned Jezebel and Deadspin.

Approximately 24 hours from now the International Olympic Committee will announce their decision on what city will host the 2016 Olympic Games. There has been a great amount of support for Chicago's bid including tremendous star power throwing their weight behind the quest to land arguably the most visible sporting event in the world.
President Barack Obama and his wife, Oprah Winfrey, Mayor Richard Daley, and many others have joined forces to support the bid and to try to land the games for the Windy City. I support the bid and believe that it will be a great thing for our town to be so visible on the world stage. We are a world class city and those in the world who don't know that yet need to see firsthand just how great a place Chicago is.
Do we need the games to be a world class city? No, we already are. However, by exposing the beauty of Chicago to the rest of the world it could reap us billions in future revenue from travel by tourists to our town. A recent study showed that while the Chicago 2016 committee may be overestimating the value of the games to the area, landing the Olympics should have the effect of hosting 12 consecutive Super Bowls. That's a pretty good boost to our region's economy.
Here is the latest on the race to land the games which could have a huge impact on our region in terms of creating jobs, increasing tourism, and driving tens of millions of dollars to our local stores, hotels, and restaurants for years to come. The latest poll on whether or not Chicagoans want the games seems to indicate widespread support for bringing the games to the Windy City.
Do you agree? Do you want to see the 2016 games here in Chicago? Weigh with your vote on today's poll question.
He becomes the 2nd Chicago baseball executive to be stopped by police regarding jaywalking in the last 8 days. White Sox GM Kenny Williams was fined $56.00 after receiving a jaywalking citation in Seattle while on his cell phone.
Check it out here. The cab driver sure comes off as very credible and as a guy who is still stunned over what transpired.
The news was stunning to many Blackhawks fans when they woke up on Sunday morning and heard that Patrick Kane had been arrested and charged with multiple counts involving a taxi driver in his hometown of Buffalo, NY.
The story was broken by the Buffalo News who reported that Kane and his cousin were involved in an altercation around 5 a.m. after leaving Chippewa Street which is known for having some of the city's best bars and restaurants.
If you were paying attention to the Brewers/Cubs game at Wrigley Field tonight and watched the TV broadcast you probably saw a gentleman behind the Cubs on deck circle who was eating a hot dog and cheering for his Cubs just like any other fan. However, this fan had his eyes on the action as he imagined what changes he would make if he owned the team.
Well, the man who was sitting in those seats was Tom Ricketts who is working to complete his purchase of the Cubs from Tribune Company. Sources close to the sale tell me that the final hurdles are about to be cleared and that this deal is finally close to completion. Ricketts is a die hard Cubs fan and from watching him at the game you can tell that he is making this purchase because of his passion for the North Siders.
From what I am hearing, the radio/TV rights deals have been a stumbling block but after several discussions it appears that Ricketts and the Tribune Co. have found a common ground. This deal should move quickly through the approval process as soon as the final terms of the sale agreement are completed.

While I agree that Derrick Rose made a mistake in posing for a photo that shows him flashing gang signs at a party during his freshman year at Memphis the fact that people are making a big deal about it absolutely stuns me.
I know that I did some stupid things when I was a teenager or as a college student as many of you did but none of us expected it to be splashed all over the internet and to have to address it to the world through the media as Derrick did this afternoon.
His statement was eloquent and well crafted and while I'm sure that his agents put it together for him, I know Derrick and I have found him to be one of the nicest young men that I have dealt with in sports in a long time. K.C. Johnson, who covers the Bulls as the Tribune's beat writer wrote a great piece about his experiences covering Derrick and after you read it I think you'll agree that Rose was acting like millions of college kids at parties each and every day.
Let's not forget that Rose is still a kid and while he is an incredibly talented basketball player kids are still apt to make stupid decisions. Let's not go over the top about this one.
