Lovie Smith Has to Go
I have never been a fan of Lovie Smith's style, but there are different ways to get the job done. And as long as Smith leads the Bears to victory, that's all that matters. Yet after a Super Bowl appearance in 2006, he has failed to get his team back to the playoffs. After yesterday's loss to the Green Bay Packers, it is obvious that a change at head coach is necessary. Not only has the team regressed over the past...

How much did the fans (read: taxpayers) contribute to that enterprise value? We're in for $450 million in stadium finance, right? How much do they owe Lovie vs. how much do the McCaskey's owe us?

Look at it this way; You might also have gotten the Olympics! How in the heck would you have paid for that?

Broadcast fees from NBC, ticket sales, and corporate sponsorships.
Once the McCaskey's personally guaranty the bonds backing UFO Stadium, you can compare the Olympics to the Bears.

Further suggestions; Start by recognizing that the Bears organization is headquartered in Lake Forest, IL - NOT CHICAGO! Thus, while the term "Lake Forest Bears" maybe hard on the ears, it will be your city's first step in fixing the blame and the game! And, failing that, please show the McCaskeys how Route 66 takes you all the way out to Los Angeles where there is an opening for a new stadium, more promises of fame & fortune, closer to Hollywood, access to the Kardashians, etc.

Well, get used to 5-11, 4-12, 6-10 type seasons for the next few years. This team has zero talent and has no draft picks on the horizon. Through a series of personnel blunders by Angelo, this team is headed for the toilet. I have no idea how can you cannot start with Angelo as the scapegoat.
You wanna fire Lovie, go ahead, but that's just rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. You could bring back Lombardi from the dead to coach this team, and you still wouldn't make the playoffs.
I'm just happy as heck that I don't spend any money watching these jokers. If I were a season ticket holder, I'd be dumping my tickets faster than a bad stock. Enjoy. Remember the Abe Gibron years ? It will be Deju vu all over again.
The Bears are a joke, and for that you blame McCaskey, then Angelo.

The Bears are the only NFL game in town.. Until Daley/Quinn and the Media start to lobby for an AFC Franchise Nothing will change..
Bear fans keep the McCaskey Brinks truck rollin.. If Chgo gets serious about an NFL/AFC franchise the McCaskeys will cr@p their pants and change things like yesterday..

Right...and tell him to take Jim Hendry with him. I'll hold the door open.

Hendry is Angelo... Unfortunatley Ricketts is the new McCaskey

Hey McCaskey's; keeping the Lovie and Jerry show going because you have to pay them anyway is just throwing good money after bad and leads to a far longer recovery time for your team.
Do you remember that 13 year run the Cincinnati Bengals had (not one winning season) or how about that spectacular Detroit Lions run to the playoff. That is what you are looking at with your time. Get rid of this Duo and get this shipped turned around and fast.
Virginia McCaskey:
FIRE LOVIE AND JERRY NOW!!! and if you can talk Tom Ricketts into firing Jim Hendry please do.
