Daytona 6, Fort Myers 4: 2008 first round draft pick Andrew Cashner gave up two earned runs, but struck out two and now has a 2.10 ERA.

Peoria 0, Clinton 5: Lefty pitcher Jeffery Beliveau threw an impressive 5.2 innings of one run ball, striking out five.

Charlotte 1, Lehigh Valley 2: Shortstop Brent Lillibridge went 0-for-4 with three strike outs.

Birmingham 4, Mississippi 1: In his Double-A debut, Charles Shirek pitched seven strong innings of three hit baseball. Tyler Flowers had a double and two RBIs.

Winston-Salem 2, Potomac 1: Christian Marrero was unable to break out of his slump with an 0-for-3 night and is now hitting .194 in his last 10 games.
